That is one of the books I was using.  You may recognize the flower from his pages.  

Mark, these are Pfeils.  I bought them individually with the flower project in mind and some basic relief work.  I think it will serve me well for a while without needing any more sizes.</description>

Nice work on the carving.  I too have done a little and would like to introduce more into my furniture pieces.  It&#039;s a very rewarding process when you complete one and I think it can set a piece of furniture apart if done at the right level.

What set of chisels did you get?  They look very complete...Pfeils?

I referred to a book called &quot;How to Carve Wood&quot;, by Richard Butz, which I recommend.  His lettercarving technique is different than mine, but I like his relief carving very well.  It&#039;s a great book for beginners.</description>
