		<description>The widest part of the mallet head is just over 2 inches.  The narrow part of the handle just below the mallet is right at 1 inch and the flare in the handle was custom fit to my hand.  I didn&#039;t put much precision into these dimension, but rather just went with what felt and looked right.</description>
