		<description>Hi Shannon

First, thanks for doing these podcasts. I download them and listen to them on the train to and from the office. They help the trip go much faster...

Second, I am inspired by your podcast to have a go at pen turning. I am in the process of restoring an old metal lathe which I will use for making bits and pieces for the tools I like to make for myself and, if I make some sort of tool rest, I reckon that I could use it for turning pens too. What do you think?

Third, I was really gratified that you have mentioned Neil Ellis&#039;s Ultrashine (EEE) and Shellawax products. Not only are these really great Australian products which we reckon are top stuff (not just for pens either - shellac followed by Ultrshine and Shellawax is my favourite finish for boxes and small furniture too), but Neil is a great supporter of amateur woodworkers. He provides the Austalian Woodworking Forums - http://www.woodworkforums.com - and he has written the best book on finishiing I know of - http://www.ubeaut.com.au/book.html.

I look forward to your next podcast.

Cheers
