Here is another seminar from the WIA design conference. Jim “Table Saw Magic” Tolpin talks about how he hung up his power cords and does his work unplugged now. A really interesting talk about the industrial vs. artisan approach to woodworking and design. Jim followed it up with a talk around taking dimensions from the human body to build furniture.

I loved this presentation! It reaffirms the direction I’m taking with my woodworking art.
