However, when I do need to travel with tools, I really have not found anything commercially available that fits the bill well. I have plans to build Roy Underhill's mid sized tool chest that he featured in PWW a few issues ago and also did a show on last season. I think it could be customized with tills inside to be a fantastic travel chest that would allow one to work right out of it and not have to "unpack" when getting to the class or job site. As for the tools to pack in it, I think that will change depending on the class or job at hand. If the class is a chest of drawers I'd want a dovetail saw or two, but would likely not have a need to bring my 16" tenon saw. However, if the class is a table, the tenon saw would be a better choice and the dovetail saws could stay back in the shop.
